Owner and lead operator James Clarke-Adams has spent years working around trucks, equipment, difficult terrain, and high-responsibility operations. His background includes Class A CDL driving, crane operation, heavy equipment work, wildfire team support with CalFire, and FEMA-related operations across the country.

Based in Nevada County for more than a decade, James and Liz are building Tally Ho Lift & Shift as a local service company with a practical, family-operated feel and the professional systems needed for serious work.

The company also supports related handyman, junk removal, and demolition services when appropriate, giving customers a flexible resource for complicated property projects.
